LAKE OSWEGO – Freshman, and only freshman, representing Crane, Harper, Riverside and Vale made the trip to Lake Oswego for the Oregon Freshman Championships.
A few highlights for eastern Oregon athletes:
- Good meet for Harper’s Lindsay Talbot as the Hornet star won the 100-meter hurdles, 300-meter hurdles, high jump and triple jump.
- Crane’s Bear Doman won the javelin event and placed second in the 300-meter hurdles, discus and pole vault.
- Riverside’s Jeremias Calvillo grabbed third in the long jump.
- Vale’s Duncan Fritts placed third in the 3000 meters followed by fifth in the 1500 meters.
