ADRIAN – Antelope senior Jesse Walker will miss out on competing on Adrian’s new track next season but he will continue to run as a Chukar as the Adrian speedster signed his letter of intent to run track at Treasure Valley Community College on Monday, May 1.
Walker signs to continue his career as a current member of the state champion 4-by-400 Lope squad. This season has seen Walker continue his work on the state leading 1A Adrian 4-by-100 and 4-by-400 relay teams. He is currently ranked fourth in the 400 meters, holding down a personal best time of 54.04 seconds while also running the 100- and 200-meter races.
