NEW PLYMOUTH, ID – The Vale volleyball team posted the squad’s second victory of the year, taking a road win in New Plymouth, 3-0 on Tuesday, Sept. 5.

The Vikings opened the match with a 25-18 in the first set and followed it winning 25-17 in the second set. The match concluded with Vale winning the third set, 25-13.

Senior Sadie Graviet served the Pilgrims four aces on the night while junior McKenna Justus was 9-for-10 serving. Sophomore Theresa Gonzalez added to the serving, going 10-for-12.

Junior Elise Seals led in the digs column with 24 while Jojo Cleaver added 11 digs. Senior Wrenna Cooke added six.

Cooke led the offense with 11 kills followed by senior Halle Peterson’s seven kills. Cleaver ended with five kills as did senior Brogan Payne. Sophomore Kesley Stepleton recorded four kills.
