After finishing the Greater Oregon League perfect, the La Grande Tigers volleyball team is preparing for a run at a state title. Unlike other leagues, the GOL does not determine championships with a tournament to wrap up the season.
La Grande finished the year with a 19-5 overall record and a perfect 6-0 league record. The Tigers are currently ranked ninth in the state rankings.
Joining La Grande in the state tournament will be the Baker Bulldogs. The Bulldogs finished second in the league standings after finishing 8-11 overall and 4-2 in the league games. The two losses came at the hand of the Tigers.
Once the bracket for the 4A is set, the Tigers will host the first round while the Bulldogs will be on the road. Round one of the playoffs are scheduled for November 2.
