State Clay Shoot Wraps Up (Full Eastern Oregon Results)

A full two days of shooting wrapped up as the Oregon High School State Clay Target Tournament closed out action on Saturday, June 25.

Teams from eastern Oregon were well represented among the 25 teams present with three squads finishing in the top ten in the team scores. Led by Crane’s fourth-place finish, Wallowa placed fifth and just one point behind, Hermiston finished in the sixth spot. Pendleton and Echo placed in the top 15 as the Buckaroos placed 13 and Echo was 15th. McLoughlin finished the event in 19th and the Rangers of Dufur ended the tournament in 25th.

Competing in the novice division, Union’s Dawson Miller took second place after hitting 84 of the 100 clay pigeons launched.

Lakeview’s Audrey Rucker was the top shooter in the girls’ division of junior varsity, taking first place with a score of 85 clays.

As we do in other sporting events, easternoregonsports.com is pleased to take the extra time and effort and show all the participants’ finishes.
