Siegner Claims Player Of The Year (Full listing of 1A All-State Volleyball Team)

The votes have been tallied and as a sophomore, Crane outside hitter Kaitlyn Siegner has been chosen the 1A volleyball Player of the Year. Siegner joins a number of teammates from the state champion Mustangs on the listing including her coach, Maddye Wester, picking up Coach of the Year.

Crane saw three players on the listing. Joining Siegner on first team honors is sophomore setter Kendal Nichols. Junior middle blocker Ava Bowen was awarded second team.

Union also found two players named to first team. Senior middle blocker Kaelyn Shoemaker joined senior outside hitter Paisley Miller in the top tier.

Imbler senior and outside hitter Rachael Stirewalt closed out her high school with a first team honor. On second team, sophomore middle blocker Jeytt Cant will return next season for the Panthers as will sophomore outside hitter Isla Howard after being named honorable mention.

The Badgers of Powder Valley were represented on first team by junior middle blocker Sky Nesser. Senior setter Marli Lind departs high school after picking up second team honors while junior outside hitter Kellee Dixon received honorable mention.

Cove libero Reegan O’Rourke was chosen to the second team and was joined by senior middle blocker Baylee Stitzel on honorable mention.

After playing her last match for the Lopes, Adrian senior Addy Martin received honorable mention.

Back on the court next season for the Redsides, South Wasco County junior outside hitter Bailey Udey also received honorable mention. Udey will be joined by teammate and fellow honorable mention junior outside hitter Jayda Iverson next year.

Prairie City/Burnt River was recognized on honorable mention by senior outside hitter Jayda Iverson and setter and senior Reece Jacobs.

Jordan Valley senior middle blocker Kenzie Tuttle also picked up honorable mention as did Elgin sophomore and setter Kennedy Moore.
