Oregonlive recently compiled a list of some of the top running backs in Oregon this year and a few from eastern Oregon made the list.
The list was compiled by Rene Ferran and published here.
6-1, 275, Sr.

Tabbed as a co-lineman of the year in the Tri-Valley Conference in 2018, Seufalemua was a dominant force on both sides of the ball during his junior season. He was second-team Class 4A all-state on the offensive line (he’s moved to running back this fall) and honorable mention all-state on the defensive line, where he had 37 tackles (25 solo, nine for loss) and recovered two fumbles. “For his size, he has very quick feet and the skill set to play in our offensive backfield,” Riverhawks coach Andy Codding said.
Gabe Shukle, La Grande
6-2, 230, Sr.

Shukle received Class 4A all-state honorable mention in 2018, when he had 98 tackles and caught three touchdown passes. “Gabe is a monster,” Tigers coach Rich McIlmoil said. “He plays as hard as he can all the time and has put many hours into the game of football. He has a laser focus on the field. I expect him to wreak havoc on offenses while also helping our offense be highly successful in many different ways.”
