HILLSBORO – The #1 ranked Ridgeview Ravens beat Wilsonville in strait sets 25-19, 25-17, 25-22 to win the 5A state volleyball championship. The Ravens were nearly perfect at the state tournament only dropping one set to Corvallis in the semi-finals.
Ridgeview opened up the tournament beating La Salle 25-6, 25-17, 25-19. They followed that up by beating the Spartans 25-13, 25-12, 27-29, 25-22.
Crook County placed 4th in the tournament when they beat Thurston 25-18, 25-16, 19-25, 25-20.
Ridgeview’s Rylee Troutman was selected to the first team all-state team. her teammate Ally Henry made the second team. Crook County’s Kenna Woodward also made the second team.
