CALDWELL, ID. – The cross-country teams of Ontario and Vale met with a number of Idaho teams in Caldwell, Idaho at the Bugtown Invite on Thursday, Oct. 12.
The Viking girls finished in the team scoring in the tenth position led by sophomore Addie Saunders time of 21 minutes, 2.64 seconds, a 21st place showing. With a limited team, Ontario failed to pick up a team score but saw May Gomez placed 90th among the runners to lead the Tigers.
The Vale boys team was just outside a top 10 finish, placing 11th in the team scores while Ontario finished 14th.
Vale senior Trevor Stewart did pick up a top 10 placing, crossing the line in seventh with a time of 16:49.60. Ontario’s top finish went to Logan Bunn in 72nd.
