Ontario Picks Up Coach And Player Of Year Awards For GOL Girls Soccer

Ontario senior Itzel Hernandez will depart high school soccer as the 4A Greater Oregon League player of the year after voting by the league’s coaches was tabulated. Hernandez’s coach, Javier Gonzalez, was named coach of the year for the GOL.

Six Ontario players were named to the all-league listing, including five to first team honors. League champion La Grande had eight players recognized while Baker six players make the list. Pendleton ended with seven players named after the voting was completed.
