UNION – Firing a team total 367, the Ontario Tigers golf team was the top team playing at Buffalo Peak on Friday, April 22.
The Outlaws of Enterprise placed second and Grant Union was third. Vale and Heppner wrapped up the top five team finishes with Stanfield/Echo placing sixth and seventh followed by the home team of Union in eighth.
For Vale, low score went to Charlie Barrett, firing a 100 over the 18 holes.
“This was not a bad effort for our players,” said Vale head coach Tom Snook. “It was a good test and we haven’t had much tournament experience due to weather so far this year.”
