ONTARIO – The Ontario girls’ basketball squad opened the home season with little for the hometown fans to cheer over as the Tigers fell to the Homedale Trojans, 17-56 with the final quarter of the game played under the running clock on Monday, Dec. 6.

The Trojans had six points on the board before Ontario’s Katelyn Ortega sank two free throws at the 5 minute, 39 second mark to get the Tigers moving. The offense struggled throughout the night, putting up four points in the first, second and final quarter of the game.
