LAKEVIEW PARK, NAMPA, ID – The five members of the Nyssa cross country team were mighty lonely on Thursday, Sept. 29 as the Bulldogs were the lone representatives for Oregon among a host of Idaho schools at the Gary Ward Invitational at Lakeview Park in Nampa.
Freshman Jazlyne Martinez was especially lonely, running as the lone girl from Oregon and placing 62nd.
Nyssa junior Spencer Romans finished 67th in the boys race for the top boys finish by a Bulldog. Sophomore Jose Deleon placed in the top 100, finishing 72nd.
