NEW PLYMOUTH – Just one day after taking part in the Vale Dash-N-Splash, the Nyssa cross-country team was on the road on Friday, Aug. 25 just across the state border to represent Idaho in the New Plymouth Invite.

Team scores were not compiled for this race.

The top finisher for the Bulldogs for the boys was senior Spencer Romans, running a time of 20 minutes, 18.80 seconds and a 16th place finish. In 28th, junior Jose Deleon ran a time of 20:55.23. Sophomore David Goldthorpe placed 33rd.

Only two Nyssa girls made the trip to New Plymouth with sophomore Jazlyne Martinez placing 24th and junior Abigail Mardock one spot behind in 25th.
