Nyssa Boys Pick Up 3rd At Idaho Meet (Full results for Adrian, Four Rivers, Nyssa and Vale)

PARMA, ID – Oregon teams Nyssa, Vale, Four Rivers and Adrian joined a number of Idaho teams running in the Parma Invite on Thursday, Sept. 19 on the course located at Parma High School.

For the boys, Nyssa placed third in the team standings, behind the Idaho teams of Cole Valley Christian and champion Borah. Four Rivers, eighth in the team scores, placed one spot ahead of Vale’s ninth.

The Vikings did see an individual top five finish as sophomore Duncan Fritts crossed the finish in 17 minutes, 56.12 seconds, fourth among the runners. Nyssa claimed a top 10 finish with junior Diego Trinidad claiming seventh with a time of 18:26.72.

Four Rivers sophomore Oliver McDowall was tops for the Falcons in 15th and for Adrian, junior Brady Ineck was 48th among the 144 runners.

The Nyssa girls also claimed the top Oregon team placement, placing fifth with Vale 15 points back in sixth.  

Vale junior Addie Saunders was the top local runner, placing sixth after a time of 22:56.38. Nyssa sophomore Isabella Arreola finished the race as the top Bulldog, finishing 28th while the top Lope went to junior Emma Nicholes in 65th. Four Rivers sophomore Maritza Benitez claimed 76th as the top Falcon of the day.
