Mustangs Regain Coveted OSAA 1A Cup (Season End Standings For All Eastern Oregon Schools)

CRANE – Dominant showings by both the boy and girls throughout the year drove the Crane Mustangs to the top spot in the final point total for the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA)’s Cup.

The Cup is a combination of points earned based on participation and finishes in OSAA State Championships and for top 10 finishes in the Academic All-State program. Points are also given if a school completes a season without an ejection.

The OSAA will deliver a trophy to Crane for the victory.

Crane picked up the Cup for the 2021-22 season with St. Paul edging out the Mustangs last season.

This past season, Crane put up 1806.66 points to beat out St. Paul’s 1613.75 point total. The Eagles of Joseph finished third with 1527.5 points. Imbler rounded out the top five teams in the state with 1477.5 points.

Union was just outside the top five with 1443.3 points, good enough for sixth place. Adrian managed a top 10 showing in eighth with 1207.5 points.
