MacHi Boys Lead 4A Eastern Oregon State Finishes (Full Eastern Oregon Results)

EUGENE – The Pioneer boys of McLoughlin grabbed the top team finish among eastern Oregon teams as the 4A OSAA Track and Field Meet came to a conclusion on Saturday, May 21 at Hayward Field in Eugene.

MacHi finished the meet with 23 points for a 13th place finish. La Grande ended their run in the 17th slot followed by Ontario in 24th. Baker placed 27th.

Luis Wolf posted a third-place finish in the high jump for the Pioneers, clearing 6 feet. Teammate Michael Doherty also had a third place finish with his coming in the triple jump with a final measurement of 42-07.75.

La Grande senior Jarom Huntsman also found himself in third in the javelin competition with a throw of 170 feet, 8 inches. Third place appeared the place to be as Tiger junior Myer Whitmore finished the shot put event with a throw of 45 feet, 5.75 inches.
