The Adrian football team closed out the season with the highest grade point average (GPA) among all the state’s 1A 8-man squads.
Adrian led a group of six eastern Oregon teams in the top eight squads released by the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA).
The Antelopes closed out the regular season with a 3.56 GPA as a team. Union barely beat out Crane for third place with the Mustangs taking fourth.
The list was rounded out by Powder Valley in fifth, Ione/Arlington taking sixth and Sherman/Condon grabbing eighth.
