Lady Buckaroos Named To All-League List

PENDELTON – The conclusion of the season brings league honors and the Intermountain Conference recently announced the awards for girls basketball. Included in the listing is three Pendleton Buckaroos.

For the second year straight, senior Murial Hoisington makes the list, picking up first team honors for the season. The 5-feet, 8-inch point guard wraps up her high school career as a two-year starter. In addition to her success on the court, Hoisington also boasts a 3.952 GPA as a student athlete.

Teammate Chloe Taber joined Hoisington on the first team. Also playing her final year as a Buckaroo, Taber also made the list last season averaging 15 points per game. The 5’ 7” guard will set her sites on the upcoming softball season next.

The third of the team is Jaden Samp with a listing on the honorable mention team.
