CULVER – La Pine junior Wyatt Montgomery started his cross country season off right, winning the 2-mile time trial in Culver on August 31.
Montgomery finished the course in a time of 11 minutes, 4 seconds. He was followed closely by teammate, senior Kaden Lorimor and his time of 12:06 and a fourth-place finish.
The lone female runner for La Pine, junior Ashley Jentzsch, placed third in her race, crossing the tape in a time of 13:37.
