La Grande’s Evans Chosen Player Of Year (Full GOL All-League list)

La Grande junior Rowan Evans will return to the soccer field next year after picking up the 4A Greater Oregon League Player of the Year award for this past season. Her coach, Chris Gianandrea was chosen by his peers as the Coach of the Year for the league.

Evans leads a group of seven Tigers making the listing of all-league honors. In addition to Evans on first team, keeper and senior Lyndie Issacson is joined by senior Paige Allen and juniors Mattie Wolcott and Karli Kretschmer.

The other Tigers in the league, Ontario, placed three players on first team including seniors Macy Rodriguez and Alina Gonzalez and junior Brianna Robinson.

Baker/Powder Valley found two players on first team, senior Jill Poe Baker and junior Mary Swartz.

Also finding two players on first team was Pendleton/Weston-McEwen with seniors Kelsy Graham and Sara Airoldi finding the honors.
