BAKER – A first place showing on the boys’ side combined with a second place finish by the girls gave the La Grande swim team a combined championship as teams left the Baker pool on Saturday, Jan. 8.
Pendleton placed second in the combined scores after the Buckaroo girls placed first while the boys grabbed third place in the team scoring.
Cove finished the day in fourth in the combined with a third place finish by the girls and a fifth place showing in the boys’ competition.
Host Baker placed fourth in the boys and fifth in the girls for a combined fifth place team score finish.
