The La Grande football team wrapped up the season not only on the football field but also in the classroom high in the state 4A standings.
The Tigers ranked second in the state among 4A teams after recording a 3.27 GPA (grade point average).
Pendleton/Nixyaawii was not far behind, placing fourth in the standings with a 3.21 GPA.
The Bulldogs of Baker also recorded well in the classroom, ending the season with a 3.12 GPA.
