ASHLAND – The Lakeview cross country wrapped up the week competing in the Grizzly Invitational on the Oak Knoll Golf Course in Ashland on Friday, Sept. 27.
The Honker girls finished third in the team scores led by senior Elizabeth Goeres and her tenth place showing with a time of 22 minutes, 11.23 seconds. Sophomores Emma Halblieb and Kara Maxwell also finished in the top 20 of the racers.
Not qualifying for a team score due to lack of runners, the Lakeview boys saw sophomore Ben Springer grab 39th in the race as the top finish.
