After dominating inside the paint and terrorizing other Eastern Oregon League teams all year, Burns junior Zane Kozeni was named Player of the Year after a meeting of coaches representing the Eastern Oregon League took place. Kozeni’s coach, Mick Miller picked up Coach of the Year for his efforts in leading the Hilanders to a 9-1 league record.

Joining Kozeni on the listing is first-team honoree, Burns senior Garrett Johnson. The remainder of the first team named includes two Nyssa Bulldogs (senior Orin Stipe and senior Zach Kausler), two Umatilla Vikings (sophomore Michael Montez and senior Emilio Jaimez), a single Pioneer (sophomore Rajdeep Singh) and a single Vale player (junior Colten Stepleton).

Vale teammates Diesel Johnson and Luke McGourty appear on second team along with Umatilla’s Kaden Salamca, Burns’ Jack Wright and MacHi’s Alejandro Sandoval.

The Honorable Mention listing include two Riverside players (Wyatt Brown, Riley Lantis), three Nyssa players (Ronaldo Bueno, Kayno Flores, Carlos Ramirez), Umatilla’s RJ Estrada, Burns’ Jaxson Hoyt, Vale’s Ethan Mulvaney and MacHi’s Tomas Garcia.
