Eastern Oregon baseball players were found throughout as the OSAA released the 3A All-Star team. Those named represented Burns, La Pine, Vale, Joseph/Enterprise/Wallowa/Elgin and Nyssa squads.
The first team honorees included Burns junior Garrett Johnson, a first baseman for the Hilanders. Joining Johnson on the first team was La Pine junior Dawson Cook as an infielder and Vale senior Kade Kurata in the outfield. Also in the outfield was Burns senior Jaden Tiller.
The Hilanders also see second team honors by way of senior catcher Kevin Peasley. Joseph/Enterprise/Wallowa/Elgin makes their first appearance in the second team honors with sophomore Jaxon Grover in the infield. Also in the infield for second team is Brandon Vela, a Nyssa senior. The outfield honors for second team go to La Pine junior Tyson Flack.
Burns senior Adam White starts the players named to honorable mention with his efforts in the infield. La Pine junior Colton Campbell is named for the outfield and Joseph/Enterprise/Wallowa/Elgin junior Maclane Melville joins Campbell in the outfield. One of the youngest receiving honors, La Pine sophomore Hunter Heal finds his name as a utility player.
