LAWRENCE SCOTT PARK – The Mid Columbia Conference met for meet number two in cross country action on Wednesday, Oct. 12 and it was the Hermiston girls squad walking away with the team honors.

The Lady Bulldogs, led by junior Jaquelin Garcia Sandoval and her eighth place showing, beat Kamiakin by a mere three points, 79-82. Richland, with 86 points, was third.

Joining Garcia Sandoval in the top 10 individual finishes was Bulldog junior Madeline Franke in 10th.

The Hermiston boys finished the day in fourth in the team standings behind Hanford, Richland and champion Kamiakin.

Hermiston sophomore Jaysen Rodriguez picked up third place in the individual standings, running the three miles in 15 minutes, 33.62 seconds.
