MIDDLETON, ID – There was no reason for the Harper Hornets to schedule the big bus on Friday, April 8 as Harper senior Ryan Talbot was the lone Oregon trackster attending the Middleton Invite.
The trip to Idaho proved successful as Talbot posted his quickest 100-meter race ever, placing fourth with a time of 11.59 seconds. He upped his standing in the 100-meter race, finishing second and a time of 15.07 seconds.
Competing in his specialty, the pole vault, Talbot cleared 13 feet, good enough for second place.
