Led by Pendleton senior Hailey Schmidt as the 4A Greater Oregon League Player of the Year, the votes of the league’s coaches were tabulated and the all-league has been named for the recent girls’ basketball season.

Schmidt picked up the award along with two teammates also named to the listing. Fellow senior and Buckaroo Avery Krigbaum was chosen to first team while Melanie Boatman, also a senior, was placed on second team.

The league champions, La Grande, saw five players on the list. The first team listing saw an array of Tigers led by senior Maezie Wilcox. Junior Kayle Collman joined Wilcox and as the lone sophomore on first team, Peyton Daggett will return next season as a junior and a first team honoree.

Second team included an additional sophomore from La Grande, Rowan Evans and junior Olivia Pennington.

Baker placed three players on the listing highlighted by first team honors to junior Ashlyn Dalton. Two Bulldogs, junior Kathryn Gentry and junior Jayden Whitford, found their names on second team.

La Grande coach Brian Wright was voted by his peers as Coach of the Year.
