PINE EAGLE – The wrestling team of Elgin topped 13 other teams on Saturday, Feb. 12 to grab the team title at the Pine Eagle Invitational.
For the majority of the teams in attendance, the Invitational was a final tune up before the upcoming district meets this weekend.
Elgin was forced to hold off the host Pine Eagle team in the team scoring. Elgin finished the day with 120.5 points with Pine Eagle scoring 104 points. Heppner placed third with Grant Union fourth and Vale rounding out the top five.
