CALDWELL, ID – The runners represented over 30 schools from both Idaho and Oregon, taking the course at the Caldwell Twilight 2021 on Thursday, Sept. 2.
For the boys, the top team finish went to the Baker Bulldogs, placing 17th. Nyssa grabbed 19th with Four Rivers one position behind in 20th.
Individually, Burns senior Masson Shaw cracked the top 20 runners, placing 17th with a time of 16 minutes, 36.23 seconds. The to finisher for Baker was junior Thaddeus Perpers (54th) with the top Nyssa runner being senior Christian Mardock (110th). In 130th, junior Aiden Herrera was the top finisher for Four Rivers.
The Baker girls were the lone team to qualify for a team score, finishing in 11th.
Baker also had the top individual finisher as senior Emma Baeth placed 27th. Burns senior Olivia Winn was the top Hilander, crossing the line in 48th. For Nyssa, junior Ciara Duenaz was 80th and Four Rivers freshman Lacatia Mason made it inside the top 100 in 92th.
