HILLSBORO – Joined by invited coach Luis Cisneros, owner of “The Factory” Wrestling Club and Impact Jiu Jitsu, three eastern Oregon female wrestlers recently returned from Hillsboro after training at the Team Oregon Girls Wrestling Fargo Camp.
“We worked with some of Oregon’s best wrestlers during the camp,” said Cisneros. “The girls were able to make new friends and learn techniques from some of the best freestyle coaches in the state. They worked hard and pushed each other to a new level.”
Eastern Oregon will be represented by two wrestlers, Lacatia Mason, a current Four Rivers Charter School student and Tyler Richardson, a recent Vale High School graduate. Both are members of The Factory. Also making the trip was Kiera Deleon, a Nyssa Middle School eighth grade student in the fall.
“I am looking forward to seeing Kiera represent Oregon in the future as she was only one of two middle school wrestlers at the camp this year,” Cisneros said.
Approximately 50 females from around the state attended the camp.
