We have some happy eastern Oregon football players after the release of the 1A 8-man all-star team was released Wednesday, Dec. 13.

On offense, two teammates picked up first team honors as Carter Nichols was named as a running back and was joined by junior Cody Siegner as a receiver.

Second team honors was split between Imbler junior offensive lineman Gabre Harder and Adrian senior and center Daniel Skerjanec.

Imbler continues on the list as senior quarterback Trevor Treat was named to honorable mention, joined by Elgin senior Ty McLoughlin at the same position. Enterprise makes the list on honorable mention with senior receiver Trey Stewart joined by Imbler senior Justin Frost and Cove senior Wyatt Burgess. The second Outlaw on the listing is senior offensive lineman John Jannuzzi.

Both Crane’s Siegner and Nichols double up on the list on defense with both picking up first team, Siegner as a defensive end and Nichols as a defensive back.

Also finding his name twice is Enterprise’s Jannuzzi as defensive tackle, Imbler’s Frost as defensive end and Elgin’s McLaughlin as linebacker. The trio are joined on second team by Imbler senior Justin Frost.

Union makes a showing on honorable mention with senior Elijah Gliddon at defensive tackle joined by Imbler senior Henry Treat at linebacker. The second Lope also appears on honorable mention with junior Colten Bayes as defensive back.

For special teams, Crane’s Nichols once again appears, this time as a second team returner. He is joined on second team by Cove junior Caleb Carson.
