Easternoregonspoorts.com took a look at the top 3A cross country runners in the state and found a number of eastern Oregon runners. Here is a list of those in the top 25 of the state.
The quickest 3A runner in the state is Enterprise senior Zac Knapp. His time of 15:24.9 is over 30 seconds faster than the remainder of the 3A class statewide and among the thousands of high school cross country runners in Oregon, all classes included, Knapp has the 17th quickest time in the state.
Knapp’s teammate, senior Bayden Menton, holds the number five position among 3A runners with a time of 16:26.0.
Coming in at six is Burns senior Masson Shaw and his time of 16:36.3.
La Pine makes an appearance in the number nine slot as junior Wyatt Montgomery has a time of 17:00.2.
Enterprise is again on the list at the number 14 position with senior Levi Ortswan and his time of 18:02.5.
Vale sophomore Trevor Stewart is directly behind Ortswan in the number 15 slot. Stewart, one of only two sophomores in the top 25, has a time of 18:04.0.
At 17, the Enterprise onslaught continues with senior Chase Homan and his time of 18:24.4.
The eastern Oregon runners continue at 18 with Burns senior Spencer Johnson and a time of 18:26.6.
La Pine is back on the list at 19 with senior Kaden Lorimor and a time of 18:29.1.
Burns junior Carter Lardy wraps up the eastern Oregon elite runners at 22, running a best time of 18:38.0.
