HEPPNER – First year high school female runners were the faces crossing the finish line first as teams gathered for the running of the Mustang Invite at the Thompson Ranch on Thursday, Oct. 6. Looking at the top 10 finishes, half were freshmen with the Enterprise claiming three of the five.
With Enterprise freshman Owyhee Harguess leading the way with a third-place finish, the Outlaws grabbed the team title with a 38-point total. Host Heppner placed third, behind The Dalles.
