Burns, Vale Boys’ Basketball Top 10 In Classroom

The Hilanders of Burns and the Vikings of Vale boys battled it out on the court three times this past basketball season.

We now found out these two also battled it out in the classroom.

Both Burns and Vale ended the season in the top 10 for grade point average in a listing of 3A boys’ basketball teams. Burns, with a team average of 3.53, ended the season in seventh, tied with Horizon Christian. One spot below was Vale with a team average of 5.52, one one-hundredth behind the Hilanders.

The Nyssa boys also made the listing of teams above a 3.0 average with the Bulldogs ending the year in the classroom with a 3.19 GPA.
