Burns Golf Defends Home Course

BURNS – The Burns boys defended the home course as the final golf tournament of the shortened season wrapped up action on Friday, May 14.

The Hilanders fired a score of 360 compared to Vale’s 435. Dufur failed to qualify for a team score.

For Vale, Lane Clark led the Viks with a 102 stroke total. Coy Schaffled fired a 105 and Aidan Madison finished with a 110. Charlie Barrett had a total of 118 and Walker Phillips finished with a 132.

“We want to thank the kids for their efforts during this crazy year,” said Vale head coach Tom Snook. “Thanks also to Country View Golf Course for allowing us to use their facilities.  They take very good care of our kids.”
