BURNS – The Burns Hilanders baseball team only needed five innings to down visiting Ontario, 15-1 on Tuesday, April 19.

The Hilanders started the game well, scoring 10 runs in the first inning and added an additional four runs in the third. The Tigers scored their lone run in the first.

Senior Jaden Tiller went the full game for Burns, allowing a single hit and one walk while striking out 10 Ontario batters.

The bats were busy for Burns with Devan Otley-Smith, Garrett Johnson and Carter Lardy each accounting for two RBIs.

For the Tigers, only James Dyas and Cole Harris recorded a hit. On the mound, Abraham Becerril pitched four innings, allowing 10 hits while striking out three Hilanders.
