Bulldog Teams Take Team Titles At Crosby (Full results for Baker, Burns, Four Rivers, Nyssa, Ontario)

ONTARIO – The Bulldog mascot ruled the team championships at the running of the Crosby Invitational on Thursday, Oct. 3 on the grounds of Treasure Valley Community College. However, the titles went to different Bulldogs squads.

Led by senior Diego Trinidad’s individual first place showing, it the was Nyssa Bulldogs taking the boys title with a score of 49 points. Burns finished second with Baker grabbing fourth followed by Four Rivers in fifth. Host Ontario placed eight.

Trinidad used the sunny day to post his best career time ever, crossing the line in 16 minutes, 50.65 seconds. Baker senior Daniel Brown, the leader in the first half of the race, finished second, seven seconds back. Burns senior Tanner Joyce picked up third place.

The top finish for the Falcons of Four Rivers went to sophomore Oliver McDowall in sixth and Ontario senior Jack Hally placed eighth.

It was the Bulldogs of Baker taking the girls team title after scoring 30 points. Burns placed second after a score of 47 points.

The Baker girls ended with five runners in the top 10 led by junior Gwendolyn Rasmussen in third with a time of 21:09.91, a season best for the Bulldog runner. Senior Sofia Kaaen placed fourth in the race with Burns junior Addie Robbins rounding out the top five.

Nyssa grabbed a top 10 finish with sophomore Isabella Aarreola grabbing tenth.
