‘Playing to a perfect 6-0 4A Greater Oregon League record and the league title, the Pendleton volleyball team led the way as the 4A Greater Oregon League named their best players for the 4A GOL All-League team.
Buckaroo junior Avery Brown will be back on the court for Pendleton next season after taking the Player of the Year award for this season.
Pendleton first-year coach Jodie Primus joins second-year Ontario coach Peter Hamilton in sharing the Coach of the Year award.
In addition to Brown’s honor, three Buckaroos were placed on first team including senior Jose Jenness, senior Nicole Somnis and sophomore Finley Evans.
La Grande also placed three players on the first team with senior Aubrey Bisenius, senior Kayle Collman and senior Rilley Robinson all making first team in the final year of high school volleyball.
Baker also saw their two seniors make first team with Lilly Wilson and Sydney Penning departing high school with first team honors.
