Buckaroos finish regular season with mile run

PENDELTON – With the District 5A-4 Intermountain Conference meet looming next week, the Pendleton cross country team kept the last meet of the season within the team.

The team met Wednesday, October 23 for the Bucks Intrasquad Mile Trial at Pendleton High School.

Ten boys ran the distance in under six minutes led by sophomore James Thatcher and his time of 5 minutes, 5.4 seconds. The girls were led by junior Jordan Murphy and a time of 6:00.7.

The Bucks compete for a district title on Thursday, October 31 at Sorosis Park in the Dalles.
