CATHERINE CREEK – The team comprised of Union/Cove boys made it through the mud pit just a hair quicker than Enterprise as the Bobcats grabbed the team title at the 47th annual Catherine Creek Scamper on Friday, Sept. 13.
The Bobcats ended the day with 22 points, two better than Enterprise’s total of 24 points. The La Grande squad finished third with Nyssa closing out the top five in fifth.
Enterprise senior Jett Leavitt grabbed the top individual honors, finishing the course in 16 minutes, 40.7 seconds. Baker’s Daniel Brown was one minute slower in second with Riverside’s Nathen Hammond taking third. The Bobcats closed out the top invididuals with Nathanael O’Reilly and Ian Garlitz.
