Antelopes run into second round

ADRIAN – In typical Adrian/Jordan Valley fashion in 2019, the Antelopes put up a lot of point on the board in a hurry. Leading 64-0 at halftime, they would go onto win 70-0 against the Butte Falls/Crater Lake Charter Academy.

Conley Martin had over 300 all purpose yards and six touchdowns, four on the ground and two through the air.

Wade Bond had five catches for 136 yards and two touchdowns while Michael Babcock rushed for 181 yards on 11 attempts and two more touchdowns.

On defense the Antelopes pitched their third shutout of the year allowing only 124 yards to Butte Falls. Kort Skinner and Blasie Warn had interceptions for Adrian/Jordan Valley and Sebastian Munoz had two sacks on the night.

Next up for the Antelopes (10-0, 6-0) is #7 ranked Hosanna Christian (9-0, 5-0). The Lions beat the #10 ranked North Douglas Warriors 60-28.

The Antelopes will be looking for revenge as Hosanna Christian knocked them out of the playoffs last year 36-46. The time is set for 2pm (MT) in Adrian.
