ADRIAN – Although the beginning of the game wasn’t what Adrian/Jordan Valley fans were used to, the final score was as the Adrian/Jordan Valley Antelopes beat the Hosanna Christian Lions 64-16 to advance to the semi-finals.

The Lions jumped out to a 16-6 early lead before the Antelopes kicked it into another gear and scored 58 strait points.

Conley Martin had another huge offensive day rushing for 99 yards and two touchdowns on ten carries. He also passed just shy of 300 yards with five more touchdowns through the air.

Wade Bond caught six balls for 200 yards and five touchdowns and Michael Babcock added 90 yards on the ground and two more touchdowns.

After the Lions fast start, the Antelopes were able to capitalize on several turnovers. Bond’s two interceptions turned the tide as he returned one for a pick six.

Adrian/Jordan Valley were able to avenge their loss to Hosanna Christian last year as they that ended the Antelopes season 46-36.

The win sets up an epic match up in the semi-finals versus Crane. The Mustangs beat the four time defending state champions, Dufur 42-6. Crane and Adrian/Jordan Valley had a tight game in the second week of the season as the Antelopes squeezed by the Mustangs 42-36. It is Crane‘s only loss of the year.
